LED shoes

I was walking along in the mall some years ago and saw a pair of LED shoes that a young boy was wearing. I recall thinking that the shoes were a really great idea because it was fun for the kinds and at the same time a kind of safety feature to help parents keep track of them. From time to time I thought about the shoes and eventually I wondered why there are no LED shoes for adults. I found a few shoes online that were for adults but they looked quite like the children’s shoes and I’m not sure that the design is perfectly transferable – so I put together these shoes for a night out on the town in Toronto. I think I might get a tutorial together on these and post it here eventually. Essentially the shoes use LED strips and a mercury switch to turn them on and off when you step into them. The shoes are good for dancing, walking at night or just all around silly fun.
